First, know what Google Adsense is, what the objective of this program is and how it works. Know the reasons why your Adsense application got rejected.
What is Google adsense:
Adsense is an advertising program of great company called Google. Google adsense program enable website owners to publish ads on their website. Actually advertisers, who want to advertise their business, approach the Google to advertise their advertisements, as Google is very good at advertisement marketing.

How adsense works:
Once you submit the application to Google Adsense program, Google team will review your application against their policies. Once your application got approval, Google place some JavaScript code on your website.
The JavaScript code fetches the relevant advertisements based on relevant keywords from your website content and display them in your website. So, once the readers click the advertisements, Google tracks the clicks and pay some money to website owner per click.
Why your adsense application got rejected:
Below reasons might cause your application gets rejected.
Your website must be your own top-level domain (for example http://www.richoutlok.com/ is correct top level domain and not www.richoutlook.com/home ).
Your domain must have been registered and active for at least 6 months before you apply for AdSense.
You must provide accurate personal information with your application that matches the information on your domain registration.
Make sure your site is easy to navigate.
Your website should not be down.
Your website must contain substantial, original content.
Ensure your website is fully launched.
Make sure enough content available for your readers feel to worth read.
Ensure there are no typo errors in the URL you submitted.
Make sure you are not using the copyrighted content or images of others.
Make sure you have privacy policy before submitting the application
Due to any of the above mentioned reasons or due to other reasons which are not mentioned here and if your adsense account got rejected by google team, correct all of them and once you are confident, resubmit the application again.
